Les mésotypes (ou mésons) sont au nombre de 890.
Ils sont numérotés d'après le numéro de la ligne du dendrogramme des 11365 "noyaux de relevés"
Les mésotypes sont présentés par un dendrogramme résumé de 890 lignes
Le dendrogramme résumé est progressivement subdivisé par niveau regroupant des effectifs de moins en moins nombreux
Chaque mésotype est caractérisé principalement par ses effectifs en relevés, plantes et observations
 
     MES = Numéro du mésotype
     SYN = Numéro du niveau de synthèse
     NOY = Nombre de noyaux de relevés
     REL = Nombre de relevés
     PLA = Nombre de plantes
     OBS = Nombre d'observations
PLA/BNQ est la fréquence moyenne des plantes du mésotype dans la banque
PLA/REL est la fréquence moyenne des plantes du mésotype dans leurs relevés
     Q1, Q2 et Q3 sont les trois quartiles des altitudes du mésotype. Q2 en est la médiane
